More Happy Trees!

Just putting the finishing touches on a commission piece.  "Melissa's Happy Trees" will be going to it's new home in California Monday or Tuesday.

It's the latest of my Happy Trees and was created to go with the client's decor.  She had specific colors in mind and sent me color swatches.

I finish up by signing the front and added two coats of Golden varnish.  The varnish makes the colors pop, gives it UV protection and makes it easier to dust.

I also sign on the back.

I always ship via UPS and let them do the packing.

If you would like me to create a painting just for you - just contact me.

A few of my necklaces at Herron & Wills in Paris, Tennessee.

A mix of modern glass beads, lava beads, my handmade paper beads, and upcycled vintage beads.

I usually prefer to make my own focal beads but I couldn't resist these handcrafted, fair trade, fish beads from Indonesia.  I mixed them with wood, glass, brass and a few of my handmade paper beads.

Don't be square, try some of my handmade clay triangles for a one of a kind necklace.
